Cruising in style and ease

Cruising in style and ease

All sail control lines on a Moorings 35.2 are led aft to the cockpit for safety and convenience. The self-stacking mainsail system with lazy jacks and integral sail cover takes the work out of dropping the main, and the roller-furling genoa makes handling the big sail simple. The engine controls are mounted on the steering pedestal where they’re easy to reach, and the helm features a pivot so the wheel can be swung 90 degrees, allowing unobstructed access to the stern platform. Raising or lowering the anchor with the electric windlass is a labor-saver and there’s even a handheld remote for the windlass.

Below is a well-lit and well-ventilated saloon with a drop leaf table for dining, allowing seating to port and starboard. On the starboard side just off the companionway is the galley with refrigerator, stove, oven, and plenty of stowage. To port of the galley is a roomy head that has a stall shower. There are two double cabins, one forward and one aft to enhance privacy. Each cabin has a double bed, generous storage, a hanging locker, a fan, two independent reading lights, and opening ports or hatches.
